M FOR MONTREAL HITS THE ROAD ACROSS THE UK!

As part of its On the Road international missions, M for Montreal continues its journey in the United Kingdom, taking part in major events, presenting showcases, hosting networking activities, and giving several Canadian artists the chance to hit the stage in iconic UK venues.
 
SECOND STOP: FOCUS WALES 2025

From May 8 to 10, for the fourth consecutive year, the M for Montreal team will be heading to the beautiful region of Wales to take part in FOCUS Wales, where they'll host a reception and present several artist showcases.

This international music showcase festival highlights some of the best emerging artists from around the world. More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the event in Wrexham.

ON THE ROAD WITH M FOR MONTREAL: A MISSION FOCUSED ON EXPORT!

M for Montreal works year-round to propel Québec and Canadian artists as well as professionals onto the international stage. With a targeted and agile approach, we adapt to market needs and the artists we support by creating concrete export opportunities. Crafted to seal the deal, we put everything in place to help music from here cross borders and reach new audiences.

Through our On the Road missions, we showcase talents at major events across North America and Europe, maximizing visibility and growth opportunities. FOCUS Wales is one of the key stops in this mission—a strategic hub where artists can build valuable connections and take their careers to the next level.

 RECEPTION
FOCUS M : CHEERS TO 20 YEARS!

On Thursday, May 8th at 8 PM, join us for Focus M : Cheers to 20 Years!, a special reception at Penny Black, presented by M for Montreal in collaboration with the Québec Government Office in London.

On the menu: dishes inspired by traditional Canadian sugar shacks—a sweet taste of maple syrup to satisfy all your cravings!
 
OFFICIAL SHOWCASE

Following the reception, starting at 8:30 PM, M for Montreal will present a series of official showcases highlighting talented Canadian artists, performing in front of an audience of industry professionals from around the world.

Get ready for an eclectic mix of genres—from indie rock to pop, electro, and even hardcore punk rock—set to ignite the stage at Sneaky Pete’s!
