M FOR MONTREAL HEADS TO BRIGHTON FOR TGE! ??

Don’t miss M for Montreal at The Great Escape 2023!

M for Montreal continues it’s UK showcase tour with a stop in the beautiful city of Brighton!

This English seaside resort offers an enchanting setting where The Great Escape festival has been held since 2006. The 2023 edition will be held from May 10th to 13th.

This annual gathering showcases no less than 500 emerging artists from around the world in over 30 walkable venues throughout the city. Not to mention the marvelous beach of Brighton, which hosts a few concerts in a temporary format.

Professionals from all over the world attend every year to discover “the next big thing”, in addition to participating in a series of conferences alongside the concerts, with roundtables, debates on current industry issues, and many networking opportunities.

It is also possible to take part in the Alternative Escape, a festival within the festival, literally. This is a free event that runs parallel to the main festival and showcases hundreds of emerging talents across the city. Adding to this already well-stocked offer are the Spotlight Shows, secret concerts, club nights, and spontaneous collaborations that make this weekend in Brighton an event not to be missed!

OUR SHOWCASED ARTISTS

We are pleased to announce the artists who will be joining us on the road as part of The Great Escape 2023. They will be performing on Friday, May 12th at Prince Albert (48 Trafalgar St, Brighton, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 4ED).

For the occasion, you will have the privilege of hearing the 60’s-inspired folk and French chanson of Vanille, followed by the timeless and soulful music of Brazilian-Canadian artist Fernie. The Montreal-based duo Bibi Club will be bringing their “living room party music” to the stage, along with the jazz-infused pop melodies of Stacey Ryan, also known as the “queen of JazzTok” (a combination of Jazz and TikTok). It promises to be an incredible performance!
